This specific Ford Ranger dashboard features a very clean visual layout: a single, centrally positioned analog speedometer bracketed by two digital screens on the left and right sides.

Inside the PCB, you will find these components:

• The Twin Displays: Both screens carry the exact manufacturing part number LQ042T5DZ07.
• The Main Processor: System is powered by a R7F701408 processor in a BGA housing.
• The Eeprom Memory: Configuration metrics are saved inside an external 93C86 EEPROM chip.

Troubleshooting the Dual Screens

Overall, these Ford Ranger clusters are pretty stable, but they definitely aren’t bulletproof. We have already seen several cases of display failures coming into workshops.
